Well, the day has finally come. At 8:41am we welcomed our son, Nixon Shane Famulak into the world! He had quite the set of lungs on him when he came out, but has been really content and happy to sleep for the rest of the day. Even though he was delivered over two weeks early he weighed in at 7lbs 15oz and is 19.5 inches long. We couldn't be more thrilled and of course we think he is the handsomest little guy around. We had quite a few visitors so we are pretty tired. I will give another update when I get home. So for now just know that he is happy and healthy and we love him to bits.

I'm phoning you back right now but had to comment-he is so cute! I think I see Nick in the first pic, but maybe a tiny tiny bit of Schow. I can't believe how dark and how much hair he has. Nick looks like such the proud papa. See you soon!
